About the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine

Among the nation's top institutions for veterinary medical education, the Purdue College College of Veterinary Medicine offers not only instruction.

Initially named the college of Veterinary Science and Medicine, the Purdue College College of Veterinary Medicine enrolled its top class of veterinary students in 1959. Located mainly in Lynn Hall on Purdue University's campus in West Lafayette, Ind., the school is among only 28 United States veterinary schools and also the only veterinary college in Indiana. Because the graduation of their top class of DVMs in 1963, the school has created greater than 3Thousand vets who now practice in most 50 states and fill important roles in government, industry and academia.
