History
Established in 1998.
The 1998 merger of two, lengthy established (because the 70's) neighboring practices, produced Kearny Mesa Veterinary Center. Doctors Craig Marvil and Kaira Broady made a decision to consolidate their practices within the building that Dr. Broady designed and built-in 1982. Through the use of elements of design from the 3 "practice of the seasonInch structures, the dwelling remains modern and spacious to this day. Our hospital includes a lengthy good reputation for accreditation in the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the greatest accreditation possible. In May 2013 Dr. Bjorn Barre` bought KMVC and grew to become the brand new practice owner. He aims to develop the practice and keep our higher level of care.

Dr. Bjorn Barre's family immigrated from Denmark to California, where he was created. In the youthful chronilogical age of four, Dr. Barre' convinced his family to consider a stray, pregnant, Santa Ana River cat. This cat together with frogs, seafood, wild birds, rodents, and dogs were a part of his childhood family. Thus, started his passion and fervour for creatures.
Dr. Barre' remained in California to go to college. Bjorn's undergraduate studies were at UCSD, where he majored in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. He spent a summer time studying in Copenhagen, Denmark, researching his family's language and culture. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004. His graduate studies then required Bjorn to UC Davis, where he received a diet scholarship, volunteered in the spay and neuter treatment centers for that pets from the local destitute population, took part in Crohn's and Colitis Foundation fundraiser occasions and handle Veterinary School in '09. In May 2013 he grew to become KMVC's new owner.
