Dr. Forfa began Monocacy Equine in 1983. He's a Diplomat from the American Board of Veterinary Practice having a niche in Equine Medicine. Dr. Forfa finished College of Parma, Italia in 1980. From 1980-1981, he practiced in the thoroughbred racetracks at Monmouth Park and Meadowlands. Also, he practiced on Maryland’s Eastern shoreline just before beginning Monocacy Equine. He's particularly thinking about the proper care of the mare and foal, intestinal illnesses and lameness and injuries from the feet and hoof. Dr. Forfa is definitely an FEI Vet for combined driving and it was area of the Vet Team in the WEG 2010 in Kentucky. Also, he serves around the Council of Biologics &lifier Therapeutics for that AVMA &lifier AAEP as Equine Representative. Dr. Forfa has taken part extensively in combined carriage driving together with his mare, “Freyda” and it is an enthusiastic kayak fisherman.
Dr. O’Halloran was raised on New York, riding in the Thomas School of Horseback riding skills. He later labored at Belmont Park, grooming racehorses for Rokeby Stables. In 1978, Pete completed the horseshoeing training program at Cornell. He continued to shoe polo horses in Florida, New You are able to, Connecticut and Massachusetts, before coming back to college and finishing his doctoral of veterinary medicine in the College of Florida in 1992. Initially after vet school, Dr. O’Halloran practiced around the thoroughbred racetracks of florida before relocating to Maryland and joining Monocacy Equine Veterinary Affiliates in 1995.
In 1999, Dr. O’Halloran became a member of Dr. Forfa as part who owns Monocacy Equine. He resides in Dickerson, Maryland where he assisted raise his two boys and likes horses together with his wife Sarah.
Dr. Leslie Breitinger
Dr. Breitinger was raised in Miami, FL where she learned to ride horses and took part in local hunter and equitation competitions. She completed her undergraduate education in the College of Miami’s College of Arts and Sciences and finished Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine this year. Just before joining Monocacy Equine, she completed internships at Equine Reproduction Concepts and also the Piedmont Equine Practice, both situated in Virginia. She's especially thinking about reproductive services and having fun with foals. In her own free time, Leslie likes traveling, gardening, cooking, pleasure riding, skiiing, and relaxing aware of her husband Jeremy as well as their number of pets (dogs, felines, hermit crabs, along with a hedgehog).
