Dr. Joan Diebold finished Brown College having a
Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Medicine. After graduation
in the College of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary
Medicine, Dr. Diebold completed an internship in the MSPCA’s
Angell Animal Clinic in Western Colonial. Since
then she's been practicing veterinary medicine in a number
of hospitals in eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island,
including 2 yrs in a practice concentrating in wild birds along with other
foreign animals.
Dr. Diebold’s regions of special interest include internal
medicine, skin care, cardiology, anesthesiology, feline
medicine, exotic animal medicine (especially wild birds and exotic
animals), discomfort management, behavior, and western herbal
medicine. She is part of the American Veterinary
Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital
Association, the American Association of Feline Professionals,
and also the Association of Exotic Mammal Vets.
Dr. Diebold is a resident of Quincy since 1984. She lives
together with her husband, Alan, as well as their numerous pets including
many felines, two dogs, an African Gray Parrot as well as an Angora
rabbit.
